Two tribes go to war this Sunday in Parnell Park! It’s the meeting of Dublin North Colleges and their Dublin South counterparts in a preliminary quarter-final of the Leinster Senior Hurling ‘A’ Colleges (Corn Uí Dhúill) 2.0).
Coláiste Éanna, who won the Dublin SHC ‘A’ title last month, provide a number of the Southsiders leading lights with last year’s Dublin minor Jamie Desmond continuing to impress from centre-back and his Ballyboden St Enda’s club-mates Paul Doherty, Naoise Greene and James Roche have all made valuable contributions to date.
The likes of Dublin minors of 2011 Ciarán Kilkenny, Cormac Costello, Paul Winters, Conor McHugh and Seán McClelland can be expected to lead the way for the Northsiders while Graham Williams and AJ Murphy showed well in their earlier win over Birr Community School.
