There has been a great welcome for the announcement of Pat Gilroy as the new hurling manager. We wish him well. The draws are already made for the National League 2018 and our first game is a home game versus Offaly. We have two home games and three away games. We have Galway at home and this game could decide who will be promoted. Next Sunday we look forward to our county semi-finals. Lucan take on Kilmacud and Vincents play Cuala. Two shocks are possible here.Well done to St. Vincents camogie team who won the senior final on Sunday at Abbottstown. We are now starting preparations for our big night at The Red Cow Hotel on Friday November 24th. We will be naming our players, schools and clubs of the year. We also will name our Hall of Fame winner. We invite clubs now to submit their proposals for these honours. Application forms are on www.fodh.ie.
