What a busy few days for Dublin hurling and camogie supporters. Tomorrow at 2.30 at Parnell Park the senior camogie team take on Galway in their second round robin game. Last Saturday they put up a great performance away to the current National League champions Kilkenny. They are facing the defeated League finalists so they need another big performance to win their first points.
Our senior hurlers take on Cork in the qualifiers. Dublin will be delighted to get another chance in the championship and they should be able to beat Cork.
At 2pm on Sunday our minors take on Wexford in the Leister final. Dublin lost to Wexford a few weeks ago and will have a great chance to get revenge. They were in sparkling form when they defeated Kilkenny in the semi-final. A repeat performance will be needed to get past the slaneysiders.
Finally, on Wednesday next our U-21’s play Offaly in Tullamore in the Leister final. Dublin have two good wins over Wexford and Westmeath but they will need to be at their very best to beat Offaly on their home patch.
Good luck to all our teams.
