After the seniors win over Clare at Croke Park our attention now turns to our u-21’s as they take on Wexford in the under 21 Leinster hurling final at Parnell Park on Wednesday evening. After such an impressive performance in the semi-final against Kilkenny, Dublin are now hot favourites to overcome Wexford. However, Wexford will not be a pushover and the Dubs will have to work hard to ensure victory. There is a doubt about the availability of David Treacy as he did not make an appearance for the seniors in the All-Ireland qualifier clash against Clare. Hopefully Rory O’Carroll will be able to take his place at centre back.
The Dubs will appreciate big support on the night and hopefully we can have the same electric atmosphere as we had a few years ago when we defeated Offaly in a thriller.
The winners will play Galway in the All-Ireland semi-final on August 21st.
