Cairde Iomána Átha Cliath invites applications for its annual “Hurling Club of the Year Award” Clubs may apply only in the category where its highest graded team is playing – senior, intermediate or junior. There will be a shortlist of three nominations in each category and the winners will be announced at the “Celebration of Dublin Hurling” night in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel on Friday, 13th November. The winning club in each category will receive a cheque for €1000.
In your submission you may refer to the various hurling related activities that your club has been involved in. These may include such measures as:
- Number of friendly games organised.
- Visits to other clubs & counties.
- Any clubs that have visited your club.
- Number of people attending coaching sessions.
- Number of referees in the club.
- Number of qualified coaches.
All applications must be received by the Friends of Dublin Hurling committee by Friday October 17th at the following address: Friends of Dublin Hurling, 137 Kelvin Close, Martello, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin or you can e-mail your submission to info@fodh.ie Confirmation and ratification of each application may be sought.
