KILMACUD CROKES 1-10 FAUGHS 1-8
Kilmacud Crokes secured their victory in the Evening Herald Dublin SHC A on Saturday night with a hard-earned win over Faughs.
Seán McGrath got the first half goal from Crokes and at the interval they led 1-5 to 0-4. Points from Barry ORorke and McGrath moved their side six points clear early in the second half.
But Faughs responded with a Ciarán Brennan free and Pádraig Ryan goal to trail by the minimum, 1-7 to 1-6. Back came Crokes with a vital brace of points from ORorke as they held strong at the finish to claim victory.
