The battle of neighbours and school friends as Cuala and Kilmacud Crokes clash at Parnell Park on Saturday. Cuala go into the game as favourites but Kilmacud will be determined to deprive them of a two in a row victory. About 20 players are past pupils of the famous Coláiste Eoin[ see the article by Colm Mac Séalaigh.] The game throws in at 3pm. It will be preceded by the minor final between Na Fianna and St Vincents.
The winners of the southside derby will go forward to represent Dublin in the AIB Leinster Club SHC quarter-final against recently crowned Laois champions, Borris-Kilcotton, on Sunday, November 6 in Parnell Park.
