A good year for the Dublin hurlers has got even better with Anthony Daly agreeing to extend his term as Sky Blue boss until the end of the 2011 championship.
The charismatic Clareman was already on board for next season, having agreed an original two-year term 12 months ago, but county board CEO John Costello has now revealed: “The Dublin GAA Board is delighted to announce an extension of one year to Anthony Daly’s tenure as senior hurling manager.”
Costello paid tribute to the “significant strides” made under Daly’s management team this year.
“This season Dublin performed impressively in the league and reached the Leinster final for the first time since 1991. Under Anthony’s management we are confident that the team can continue their progress over the coming two seasons,” he concluded.
