The Dublin hurling team for their NHL Division 1 opener against Cork in Páirc Uí Chaoimh (2.30) shows three changes from the side which defeated Offaly in the Walsh Shield final.
Tomás Brady returns to the full-back berth after missing the game last Sunday owing to an arm injury picked up in the 2008 Dublin U21HC A final against Lucan Sarsfields.
Michael Carton will start at wing-back while Joey Boland will be making his first outing of the year for the Dubs after featuring for UCD in the Walsh Cup.
Johnny McCaffrey will be included among the subs after suffering an injury in the U21HC A final last weekend.
Alan Nolan will make his first league start for Dublin since April 2006 when he lined out against Carlow at St Sylvesters in a Division 2 clash. There are league debuts for Ruairi Trainor, Shane Durkin and David Treacy.
