‘A bitter pill to swallow’. That was the general reaction from Dublin supporters after the 3 point defeat to Tipp. The big question on peoples lips was did the Dublin players know that if they lost by only 2 points they would be in the quarter-finals. Anthony Daly runs a very professional set up and it would be most unlikely that he had not made the players aware of the situation.Alan McCrabbe had a wonderful game and is our man of the match. We now have to face Waterford again in the relegation battle. The only consolation is that the Dublin performance against Waterford can only be better than it was a few weeks ago. Dublin are now playing a good brand of hurling and should have beaten Tipp on Sunday. All is not lost and the Waterford game is like a championhsip game now. We have 958 members now and our target is to make the 1,000 mark this year. Membership costs €20 for adults and €10 for juveniles.
