It is not acceptable that there are 18 hurling club games fixed for Wednesday night. At the same time our u-21 team are playing Wexford in the quarter final of the Leinster championship. Wexford are going for four in a row. Dublin are made up of players who narrowly lost to Tipperary in the All-Ireland minor final three years ago. So they should have a good chance. Friends of Dublin Hurling are running a bus but by 6pm on Monday only 5 people have signed up. I have got a few phone calls from people who would love to go but cannot because they are involved with their clubs. Not a mention of this match on Hill16. This is not an acceptable way to deal with Joe Fortune and his team.
