This is a difficult time for everybody. Yes we miss the games etc but life is much more important. Just a few updates:
- We send our best wishes to Michael Carton, O’Tooles and Dublin hurler, who has the virus and is in hospital at the moment. Michael has been a wonderful servant of his club and county and we wish him a speedy recovery. See today’s Independent.

Our Golf Classic fixed for May 14 is being postponed and hopefully we can play it later in the year.

Needless to say, all club fixtures for April are off. John Costello has mentioned that it may be necessary to change the championship format for this year.That may mean going back to the old style knock-out championship. By the way, the same could apply to the Leinster championship as well.

I mentioned last week that St. Joseph’s Marino won the Leinster Colleges final in 1945. It should have read St. Joseph’s Fairview.
