Congratulations to Cuala on qualifying for the All-Ireland senior hurling championship final. They have the distinction of being the first Dublin club to reach the final. Well done also to their wonderful supporters who made a big impact at Armagh last Saturday. Fodh had a bus load of supporters there and were delighted to shout on the boys in red.We wish them well now in their preparation for the final against Ballyea of Clare, also in their first final. Good luck to our senior hurlers who take on Waterford in Croke Park next Saturday. If they can reproduce the form of last week when they defeated Cork They can pick up two more points and could be pushing for a quarter slot. Again we encourage all Dubs supporters to get there in time to support the hurlers. Congratulations to John Horan who will be the next President of the GAA. Hard luck to our senior camogie team who lost to Waterford in a very close game played in difficult conditions. The camogie ladies are holding a table quiz fundraiser at The Red Cow Hotel next Friday March 3rd starting at 7.30pm. The cost of a table of 4 is €40. Your support would be much appreciated. We will be holding our AGM at Parnell Park on Monday March 13th starting at 7.30pm. We invite all hurling fans to attend. Only 2016 and 2017 paid up members will be receiving texts from now on. This year 230 members have joined Fodh and they will be in a draw for a 32 inch television. We are extending the deadline to March 30th to be in draw.
