The one point win over Antrim yesterday was crucial for Dublin’s morale. Well done to all concerned. The players are training extremely well and will continue to get better and better. They now have to travel to Waterford on Sunday week and a win there is needed to have a chance of making the semi finals. There are some big Fitzgibbon Cup games taking place this week. DCU are at home to Mary I on Wednesday at 7pm. There are thirteen Dubs on the DCU panel including Eoghan O’Donnell, Donal Burke, Fergal Whitely,Daire Gray, Rian McBride and Paul O’Dea. UCD play DIT at the same time at Belfield. Next Saturday Cuala play Liam Mellows in the All-Ireland club semi final at 4pm at Thurles. Friends of Dublin Hurling will run a supporters bus to the game departing Connolly Station at 1.15 and Rathcoole Village at 1.45 pm.
