Our senior hurlers gave a wonderful display of hurling at Parnell Park yesterday and were desperately unlucky to have the game snatched from them in extra time. Pat Gilroy can be very proud of his team and we can look forward to this team getting better and better. Pat has a three year plan and yesterday’s performance was a great start. We now head for Wexford next Sunday and a repeat performance might give us two points. This game will probably be a sell-out so supporters who intend travelling would be well advised to purchase tickets at their earliest convenience. Friends of Dublin hurling will run buses to the game. They will depart Connolly Station at 11am and The Spawell Tallaght at 11.30am. To book a seat text your name and pick up point to 0872331983 no later than 6pm on Thursday. Our minors put in a good performance yesterday in losing to Kilkenny and there is every chance these two teams could meet again in the Leinster final. Our senior camogie team lost by two points to Offaly in the Leinster semi-final. They will meet Offaly again in four weeks in the All-Ireland round robin and will have a chance to get revenge. Our Golf Classic is ready to go and you can see the timesheet and list of sponsors on our website www.fodh.ie
