Well done to St. Maurs who defeated Erin’s Own of Carlow by 1 -22 to 1 – 9 in the Leinster Junior Hurling quarter- final. They now progress to the Leinster semi-final when they take on Dunamaggin at John Locke’s pitch in Callan at 2pm on Saturday. Good luck to ballyboden St. Endas who take on Coolderry at Parnell Park on 2pm next Sunday. This will be a tough game to win and Leinster club hurling is different from Dublin club hurling so Ballyboden beware. It would be wonderful for Dublin hurling if Boden could do what Cuala did for the last few years. Good luck to our new hurling manager Mattie Kenny as he picks his backroom team. Good luck also to Frank Browne the new manager of the Dublin senior camogie team.Only ten days left now to our big night at the Red Cow Moran Hotel.
