Good luck to our teams representing Dublin in the Leinster club championships. Cuala are away to St. Mullins on Sunday in Carlow at 2.30. Scoil Uí Chonaill are away to Bray Emmets in the Intermediate championship at 1.30 and Fingallians are at home to Conahy Shamrocks in the Junior championship at 1.30pm. All these games are quarter finals.
Well done to St. Vincents who defeated St. Judes in the senior camogie championship final at Abbottstown.
Last week we named the schools and clubs that we will honour this year at The Red Cow Moran Hotel on Friday November 29. Now for the players. Eoghan O’Donnell is our adult player of the year. He had a wonderful year at full back and is in with a chance of an All-Star award. Cian Derwin had a good year at club level and was Dublin’s best player in this year’s u-21 championship. Ali Twomey gets our camogie award for her commitment to Dublin camogie. Congrats to all three.
