Ger Cunningham has picked another Ger Cunningham to be coach for the year ahead. Ger Cunningham 2 has vast experience of coaching and he is a big catch. Johnny McGuirk has joined them and he is very familiar with the younger players and hopefully we will see more young players getting their chance in the coming year. Thanks for all your nominations for players of the year. Eamon Clancy was first out of the hat and he wins two tickets to the big night at The Red Cow Hotel. We also got a good response from clubs and schools and the winners will be named on the night as will the camogie player of the year. Congrats to four long serving Dublin camogie players who are bowing out after giving great service to their county. They are Louise O’Hara, Elaine O’Meara,Aine Fanning and Catriona Power. Next Saturday is county final day at Parnell Park. At 12.30 Na Fianna and St.Vincents clash in the minor final. Both sides have some outstanding players who played on the Dublin minor team. At 3pm Cuala will defend their crown with neighbours Kilmacud Crokes. A good number of players from both sides sat side by side at the great Colaiste Eoin and this will add to the contest. We look forward to two great contests.
