McCrabbe returns to hurling squad 16/01/2014

Alan McCrabbe has returned to the Dublin senior hurling squad after missing out last year due to work commitments.
The former All Star is currently training with Anthony Daly’s squad after another fine year of action at club level in 2013 with Craobh Chiaráin.
However, one player who will not be in contention for Dublin’s opening game of the NHL1A is defender Paul Schutte who recently underwent surgery on a thumb.
The Cuala man suffered the injury during a recent challenge game and could be sidelined for eight weeks.
Dublin’s senior hurlers get their 2014 programme underway this Saturday night when they host UCD in the Bord na Móna Walsh Cup quarter-final in Parnell Park (7pm).
