Hundreds of kids and adults flocked to Parnell Park on Thursday evening to watch the Dublin team training and to meet and greet the players afterwards. There was a fantastic turnout of young hurlers and they really enjoyed the atmosphere. At the end of the session the players and management team met the fans and signed autographs and answered many questions. Anthony Daly spent over 40 minutes signing autographs and he commented when he finished the last one that his mother should have called him Tony not Anthony. No doubt that the Dubs will shorten his name to Anto.
All present were very impressed by the intensity of the training session. Alan McCrabbe, Ross O’Carroll and Liam Ryan looked to be moving ok and should be in line for consideration for Sunday week.
