Dublin have mixed the tried and trusted with a few emerging faces in their team for Sunday’s Walsh Cup senior hurling final against Kilkenny in Parnell Park (2.0).
Owing to injuries and several players being college-tied Dublin have revamped their team from that which played against Waterford and Tipp in the Allianz NHL for Sunday’s contest with last year’s All-Ireland runners-up.
Cuala’s John Sheanon and Na Fianna’s Martin Quilty come into the half-back line while Conor Clinton will partner John McCaffrey at midfield. Up front Daire Plunkett comes into the starting 15 at left full-forward while his St Brigid’s club-mate Alan Nolan replaces Gary Maguire in goals.
