A large crowd of enthusiastic Dublin hurling supporters turned up in Parnell Park on Friday evening to watch their hurling heroes prepare for their forthcoming battle against Tipperary, under the watchful eye of manager Anthony Daly and his back room team.
At the conclusion of the training session, all the players remained on the field to meet with the supporters, pose for photographs and sign autographs. This was a terrific opportunity for the many young fans, in particular, to get up close and meet with their heroes. The players duly obliged by spending almost an hour on the pitch with them. Last man off the pitch was manager Anthony Daly, as his was one of the most sought after signatures of the autograph hunters. He was delighted with the turn out of support.
FODH wishes to thank all those who turned up on the night and help make this a special occasion for the players and their fans.
