DUBLIN are now a 10/1 bet to land a remarkable All-Ireland double in the wake of Kilkenny’s dramatic surrender of their hurling crown in Thurles yesterday.
Anthony Daly’s Leinster hurling champions have seen their own All-Ireland odds tumble in response to Cork’s 0-19 to 0-14 quarter-final ambush of the Cats, who played the entire second half with 14 men after the controversial double-yellow dismissal of their recalled talisman, Henry Shefflin.
Paddy Power have now installed Limerick as marginal Liam MacCarthy favourites, while they are quoting 10/1 odds on the Dublin double ahead of two looming Croke Park collisions with Cork over the next two weekends.
