Danny Sutcliffe will lead the Dublin attack in Tuesday night’s Leinster U21HC against Carlow in Parnell Park (7.30).
The St Jude’s man will captain Shay Boland’s side as the senior intercounty hurler faces into a busy few days with Saturday night’s Leinster SHC replay against Wexford to come.
His fellow senior team-mate Eamon Dillon, who scored a very important goal last Saturday in the draw with the Slanyersiders after being introduced as a sub, will play at full-forward.
Dublin senior footballers Cormac Costello and Ciaran Kilkenny are also included with the Whitehall Colmcille’s man at midfield with senior hurling panellist Glen Whelan. Whelan was also a member of this year’s Dublin U21 football team.
Kilkenny has been selected at right half-forward in a potent line that includes Sutcliffe and dual U21 Conor McHugh.
Matthew McCaffrey, younger brother of Dublin senior hurling captain Johnny, will play at full-back and is vice-captain.
