DUBLIN hurling manager Anthony Daly’s already threadbare squad has shipped another blow after David Treacy was ruled out of Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final clash with Tipperary. The Cuala man tore a hamstring in training, which is also expected to keep him out of the final should the Dubs upset the form book and overturn the reigning champions. Treacy damaged his hamstring in the Leinster semi-final win over Galway on June 18 but had battled back to fitness. Dublin have been rocked by the news that full back Tom Brady has suffered the dreaded cruciate knee injury and David Treacy will be out for 4-5 weeks with a hamstring tear. Brady only recently returned from a medial ligament injury to his other knee, but the powerhouse full back landed badly on his “good” knee when competing for a high ball with Joe Canning on Saturday. Dublin hurler David Treacy is undergoing a scan this morning. The Cuala attacker has endured an injury-plagued season and came on a substitute for just seven minutes at the end of the Division One league final and for only 14 minutes against Offaly in the Leinster SHC. However, his recuperation received a setback on Saturday night at Tullamore when he got injured again in the win over Galway.
