Honouring the 1961 Leinster champions and All-Ireland runners-up.
The 1961 team will be our guests of honour at the County Final. The players and family representative of deceased members will meet for a meal early in the afternoon and then will attend the final and they will be introduced to the public at half time. Fodh honoured this team in 2011 but it will be so nice to do so again. Hopefully, there will be a big crowd in attendance.
See attached a very interesting article by Niall Scully on the team of 1961
Adrian O’Sullivan, Dublin camogie manager, has named his backroom team for 2022. It looks impressive. We wish them well.
