Joey Boland has proven his fitness to be named at centre-back for the Dublin hurlers ahead of Saturday’s Walsh Cup semi-final against Galway in Parnell Park (5.30)
The Na Fianna man was replaced in the 52nd minute of last weekend’s victory over Antrim by his club-mate Martin Quilty but is fully fit to face the Tribesmen.
The Dublin footballers face Meath in the O’Byrne Shield final (7.30) following the hurling encounter.
