Two goal hero Oisín O’Rorke celebrates his second goal.
Kilmacud Crokes successfully defended their Dublin MHC ‘A’ crown when defeating southside rivals, Ballyboden St Enda’s, 3-12 to 1-9 in Sunday’s final at O’Toole Park.
Two first half goals from Oisín O’Rorke were crucial to the Kilmacud Crokes victory as Crokes collected their third minor ‘A’ title in just four years (2007, 2009, 2010).
By the break the Stillorgan lads held a seven-point advantage with the deadball accuracy of Kevin Kelly to the fore but goalkeeper, Seán Garvey, also had to be at his best throughout when denying the Boden attack on several occasion.
Four minutes from time Crokes put the outcome beyond doubt when Mark O’Dwyer crashed the sliotar to the net from close range.
