Dublin continued their NHL Division 1 preparations with a welcome confidence boosting victory in this Walsh Shield final at Banagher on Sunday afternoon.
Alan McCrabbe was the Dubs marksman-in-chief with a haul of 11 points (ten frees) and goalkeeper Alan Nolan made some excellent saves to pave the way for a Dublin victory.
Nolan, however, was yellow-carded before the finish and was replaced by Finn McGarry.
Offaly led 1-10 to 1-9 at half-time with Peadar Carton cracking home the Dubs goal after good work by McCrabbe.
