Anthony Daly named a second string to take on Tipperary at St. Brigids last Saturday night. Tipperary took the game very seriously and had twelve members of last year’s team that were unlucky to lose to Kikenny. Dublin’s young team took the game to Tipp and were a joy to behold. At the end they were only 3 points behind Tipp on a scoreline of 1-21 to 1-18. I t really augurs well for the future of Dublin hurling.
Congratulations to St. Brigids on their splendid facilities. They now have added a hurling wall and this will be of great help to all their young hurlers.
