Dublin hurler Stephen Hiney returns
Cruciate ligament victims Stephen Hiney, Conal Hiney and Tomas Brady are expected to make their long-awaited returns to the Dublin colours in a SH challenge against Waterford next Monday night.
The talented trio, who were sorely missed during Dublin’s ill-fated Allianz League campaign, have already made their returns to club action and will complete their comebacks against the Deise in five days’ time.
Both Hiney and Keaney will line out for Ballyboden St Enda’s in their second Dublin SHC ‘A’ group match against Lucan Sarsfields in Parnell Park tonight, but Brady will sit out Na Fianna’s second round clash with Naomh Fionnbarra on Friday night after being sent off in their championship opener against Faughs.
Assuming all three feature in next Monday’s challenge and come through it unscathed, they should be in line to see action against either Laois or Carlow in the Leinster SHC quarter-final on June 2 in Tullamore
