Family Funzone for Dublin-Cork
Friday, August 09, 2013
The Family Funzone returns to Croke Park once again this Sunday, August 11 in the Davin Stand Car Park for the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Championship semi–final clash between Dublin and Cork.
The new and improved Family Funzone, which is to be a regular installation at Croke Park once again for the remainder of the All-Ireland football and hurling championship campaigns, includes a unique GAA ‘Nothing Beats Being There’ photo booth, the opportunity to be photographed with the Liam McCarthy Cup as well many other interactive games and activities for young players and supporters.
On Sunday, the Funzone will open at 12.30pm and will run right through until 3.00pm. Access will be off North Circular Road, just beyond Gill’s pub and from the Russell Street Bridge entrance. Activities in the Family Funzone are free of charge and accessible by all match day ticket holders.
The Funzone was a hugely popular addition to the Croke Park experience in 2012 and over 9,000 supporters passed through it over the course of the football and hurling championships to enjoy the build up to the game within the stadium.
Supporters are encouraged to avail of these additional services before settling in for the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Championship semi-final between Dublin and Cork at 3.30pm. In the minor fixture, Waterford clash with Kilkenny at 1.30pm.
