Hard luck on our young hurlers who lost to Cork for the second week in a row.Unfortunately, we struggled to score our frees and we gave away too many of them. Again, we hope that some of these young men will progress to our under 21 team next year. Well done to the Premier Junior camogie team who defeated Kerry and are now through to the All-Ireland final on September 10th. We hope the senior camogie team can join them. They play the All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in Limerick next Saturday at 5.15pm in the All-Ireland semi-final. Friends of Dublin Hurling and the Dublin Camogie Board are running a bus to Limerick for supporters. The bus will depart Connolly Station at 1pm and Rathcoole Village at 1.30pm. The return fare is €5. To book a seat text your name and pick up point to 0872331983 no later than 6pm on Thursday next. Our 5th Annual All-Ireland Golf Classic at Powerscourt is only two weeks away on Wednesday August 30th. This has become a most popular event.
