Dublin minor hurlers will look to the experience gained last year as they set out to defend the Leinster MHC crown against Wexford at Parnell Park on Saturday afternoon (2.0).
This years team will be captained by full-back Cian OCallaghan who is one of several players who enjoyed the Dubs successful run through Leinster to the All-Ireland MHC decider where they lost to Galway last September.
Seán McClelland, in his third campaign, will line out alongside OCallaghan in the full-back line while centre-forward of last year, Conor McHugh (Na Fianna), will partner Seán Treacy (Cuala) at midfield.
Freetaker Paul Winters, who was Dublins third top scorer with 1-17 (0-10f, 0-1 65) has been named at wing-forward with last years top scorer, Cormac Costello, and Oisín ORorke in the inside forward line.
Eric Lowndes and Colm Cronin, both members of last year’s team, are currently sidelined through injury.
