LUCAN SARSFIELDS 2-15 ST VINCENTS 1-13
Kevin OReilly proved to be Lucans supersub as they booked their spot in the last eight of the Dublin SHC A at OToole Park on Thursday night.
Lucan led 1-7 to 0-6 at the break thanks to Alan Whytes goal from a free in the fourth minute but after the break Vinnies got on top and points from John Hetherton, Diarmuid Connolly and Cian McBride brought them level just before the three-quarter mark.
However, it was OReillys tally of 1-5 which ultimately was to separate the sides.
His goal came nine minutes from time following good work from the in-form Mick May.
