Rushe makes winning return to action

Liam Rushe has handed Dublin hurlers a pre-league boost by making his comeback from injury with UCD in their Fitzgibbon Cup victory over Waterford IT on Tuesday night.
The 2011 Young Hurler of the Year has been sideline with a broken bone in his hand since the end of last year but played the full 60 minutes for the students at full-forward in their impressive win.
Dublin open the defence of their Allianz NHL Division 1 title when they travel to Salthill to face Galway in Pearse Stadium on Sunday, February 26 in Division 1A action.
Rushe was one of six Dubs five starters who lined out against a fancied Waterford IT side being joined by Jack Dougan, Oisín Gough, James Gilligan and Daire Plunkett. Kilmacud Crokes Kevin OLoughlin was introduced as a sub and hit a crucial late point for the Belfield men.
