Vincents finished the stronger to secure their second win from two starts in Group D of the Evening Herald Dublin SHC A on Saturday afternoon.
Heading into the last ten minutes a Karl OBrien point edged Faughs ahead by the Marino men responded with scores from Roan Fallon (two), Tomás McGrane free and fine effort from Diarmuid Connolly.
They sides level five times, including at the break, 1-4 to 0-7. The only goal of the game arrive two minutes before the interval when Ciarán Brennan fired to the net.
Vins finished with 14 men as Stephen Loughlin was red-carded twenty minutes from time.
